Senior Python Automation QA Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Python Automation QA Engineer to join our client's team in Vancouver. Our client is a global technology leader renowned for its cutting-edge connected products and solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automated test suites using Python.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure code quality and identify potential defects early in the development lifecycle.
  • Analyze system requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to testing.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process and infrastructure.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on automation.
  • Expert proficiency in Python programming and testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest).
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Unified Communications, VoIP, or SIP domain.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP).
