Position Overview

Senior QA Automation Engineer

As the wine sector increasingly emphasizes direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales, our comprehensive solution has been at the forefront of this evolution.

Key Responsibilities

We are in search of a dynamic and driven individual to take on a pivotal role within our Software Engineering team.

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be instrumental in testing the next iteration of the WineDirect Platform, WD 2. You will collaborate with a software team dedicated to developing cutting-edge omni-channel sales, marketing, loyalty, analytics, and subscription automation services.

  • Assess, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and the product team to comprehend, create, and execute data migration tasks and tests.
  • Conduct risk analysis for complex quality challenges.
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain data pipelines, processing jobs, and report outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Design, execute, and uphold automated and manual test scripts for APIs and FrontEnd UI.
  • Configure CI/CD to facilitate automated tests and support both existing and new testing environments.
  • Evaluate functional and non-functional requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Identify testing gaps and risks, providing additional coverage as necessary.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in SaaS software application testing and automation.
  • 5+ years of experience in Automated and Manual API and Webservice testing (Postman, Insomnia, Rest Assured, etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience in Automated and Manual UI testing (Cypress, Selenium, Robot, etc.).
  • 2+ years of experience in performance and load testing (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.).
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages (JavaScript, Ruby, Python, Java, C#/.Net).
  • Familiarity with Security, Contract, UAT, Exploratory, and various non-functional testing.
  • Ability to quickly grasp the responsibilities of platforms, databases, APIs, caching layers, proxies, and other web services within a system.
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud, MSK, Kafka is a plus.
