We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Sushi Umi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of sushi dishes, including sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese cuisine specialties.
- Inventory Management: Order and manage supplies and equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Assist in managing kitchen operations, including supervising kitchen staff and ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
As a Sushi Chef at Sushi Umi, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing and cooking a variety of sushi dishes for our customers. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about delivering exceptional food and service.
