About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at Sushi Taku. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes to meet the expectations of our discerning customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new and innovative sushi menu items that showcase our commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Chef Supervision: Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to prepare and present our sushi dishes to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that our kitchen is always well-stocked and efficient.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that all sushi dishes are prepared to order and presented in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to our staff to create a welcoming and inclusive work environment for all employees, including newcomers and refugees.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe work environment that meets the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
