About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tilesetters Supervisor to join our team at MODENA TILING INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our tilesetters and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of tilesetters to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
  • Prepare and review production reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Train and develop the skills of tilesetters to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and expertise to perform their duties effectively.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed at all times.
  • Recommend personnel actions to management.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
