Tilesetters Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tilesetters Supervisor to join our team at MODENA TILING INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our tilesetters and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of tilesetters to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
- Prepare and review production reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines.
- Train and develop the skills of tilesetters to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and expertise to perform their duties effectively.
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and recommend personnel actions as necessary.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
