About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at The Wickaninnish Inn Ltd. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.
    • Provide guidance and training to housekeeping staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Operational Management
    • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of the housekeeping department.
    • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure adequate stock levels.
    • Coordinate the maintenance and repair of housekeeping equipment and furniture.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
    • Investigate and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the housekeeping budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Prepare and submit financial reports to management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a housekeeping management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
