Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Château de Mercuès. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring that our high standards of service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Develop and implement effective housekeeping procedures and protocols to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas of the hotel meet our quality standards.
  • Manage the housekeeping budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best possible service and value.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including staff performance and guest feedback.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior housekeeping role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and managing a team, with a focus on excellent service delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and protocols, with the ability to develop and implement effective systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
