About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at The Wickaninnish Inn Ltd. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.
    • Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
    • Ensure that all housekeeping staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
    • Address any issues or concerns raised by guests or staff in a timely and professional manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the housekeeping budget to ensure that expenses are controlled and that we are achieving our financial targets.
    • Monitor and report on housekeeping expenses and revenue.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
    • Or equivalent experience.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
