Job Title: Compensation and Benefits Manager

UniUni Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs that align with our business strategies and goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs that meet the needs of our employees and support our business objectives.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and market analysis to ensure the competitiveness of our compensation and benefits packages.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other perks.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Manage payroll processes for both the United States and Canada, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
  • Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure proper reporting and reconciliation of payroll-related accounts.
  • Address payroll inquiries and resolve any payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with North American tax regulations, including federal, state, provincial, and local taxes.
  • Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations that impact payroll and benefits administration.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, with at least 3 years in a similar role covering both the US and Canada.
  • Extensive experience in payroll operations and tax compliance in North America.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and provincial employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and use data to inform decision-making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designation.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
