Job Summary

The Restaurant Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in executing complex restaurant management operations. This role ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, and operates to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completes opening, daily, and closing procedures in accordance with company policies.
  • Assists in managing day-to-day activities of associates, including supervising and interviewing candidates.
  • Monitors financial and operational data to meet unit goals and assigns associates accordingly.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, including adult beverage policies.
  • Assigns work tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures all shifts are covered.
  • Actively ensures associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods.
  • Ensures display areas are clean, stocked, and visually appealing.
  • Operates cash register and maintains proper security of cash.
  • Monitors compliance with wellness and safety procedures and reports any concerns to the General Manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to work varied shifts, including opening, busy dayparts, and closing.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of food and beverage experience, including 4 years of supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, as well as converse comfortably with customers.
