About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Specialist to join our team at Queen's University. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in securing funding for our institution's initiatives and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategies
    • Design and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to meet or exceed annual targets
    • Identify and cultivate key donors and stakeholders
  • Build and Maintain Relationships
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, alumni, and other stakeholders
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all interactions
  • Communicate Effectively
    • Develop and disseminate compelling fundraising materials, including proposals, reports, and stewardship communications
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding
  • Manage and Analyze Data
    • Track and analyze fundraising metrics to inform strategy and optimize results
    • Provide regular reporting and insights to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or non-profit management
  • Experience
    • 3 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related field
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proven ability to meet or exceed fundraising targets
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
