Fundraising Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fundraising Specialist to join our team at Queen's University. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in securing funding for our institution's priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategies
- Design and execute comprehensive fundraising plans to meet or exceed annual targets
- Identify and cultivate key relationships with donors, alumni, and community partners
- Communicate Effectively
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals, reports, and other fundraising materials
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Manage Donor Relationships
- Provide exceptional donor service and stewardship to ensure long-term relationships
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities through research and prospecting
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
- Work closely with colleagues across the university to advance fundraising goals and objectives
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives that align with the university's mission and priorities
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., fundraising, marketing, communications)
- Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related field
- Skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
