We are hiring for an Assistant Pharmacy Manager at our PriceSmart Foods Richmond-Ackroyd location in Richmond, BC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day pharmacy dispensary operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
  • Develop and implement clinical strategies, including drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, prescription and non-prescription counseling and recommendations.
  • Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring, and mixing the quantities of drugs and other ingredients required and filling appropriate containers with correct quantities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community partners to enhance patient care.
  • Manage inventory levels and develop effective ordering processes.
  • Lead team members, providing training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure optimal results.
  • Analyze business strengths and patient needs to develop and implement business growth strategies and plans.
  • Enforce policies and best practice protocols relating to pharmacy practice and drug distribution.

Requirements:

  • Hold a current pharmacist license in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia or equivalent regulatory body.
  • Possess Injection Certification.
