Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Save-On-Foods Richmond-Ackroyd location in Richmond, BC. As a valued member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, ensuring the highest level of patient care and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the dispensary operations, including receiving, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
  • Provide clinical services, including drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, prescription and non-prescription counseling, and recommendations.
  • Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring, and mixing the quantities of drugs and other ingredients required and filling appropriate containers with the correct quantity.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community partners to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Manage inventory, team member scheduling, training, and development.
  • Identify business strengths and patient needs, and develop and implement business growth strategies and plans.
  • Enforce policies and best practice protocols relating to pharmacy practice and drug distribution.

Requirements:

  • Pharmacist license in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia or equivalent regulatory body.
  • Injection certification.

Compensation: $46.00 - $49.00 per hour, depending on location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
