$60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and performance.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual who can develop leads, schedule appointments, and provide exceptional customer service to help grow our business through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experiences. As a Financial Planning Business Development Specialist, you will work closely with our agent to establish and meet marketing goals, successfully complete projects, and maintain a compliant book of business.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop effective sales strategies to identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Work collaboratively with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, and successfully complete projects from time to time with the insurance company.
  • Maintain a complaint book of business/portfolio and adhere to all corporate guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
  • A successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
  • Proactive in problem-solving, dedicated to customer service, and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to make presentations to potential customers, hold an IFIC license, and LLQP license.
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure, exceling in a team-oriented environment.
