Job Title: Business Process Specialist, Market Rules and Business Processes Development

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Specialist to join our team at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO). As a Business Process Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and developing business processes related to Market Rules and Business Processes Development. Your expertise will help us ensure the effective implementation of our business processes and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current business processes and develop new ones to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the Market Rules team to ensure business processes are aligned with organizational goals
  • Develop and maintain process documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business process improvements
  • Conduct process analysis and design to improve business outcomes
  • Develop and implement process metrics and monitoring systems
  • Provide training and support to staff on new business processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business process analysis

Requirements:

  • 4 years of university education in an appropriate discipline or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of business analysis theory, principles, and practices
  • Knowledge of business and IT business methods, procedures, and organization structures
  • Experience with business process analysis and design
  • Experience with process modeling and documentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
