Job Summary

SAIT is seeking a qualified instructor to teach Communication Studies courses. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching diverse students and thrive on sharing knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct Communication Studies courses
  • Prepare in-class and study materials for learners
  • Evaluate student progress and achievement providing timely, formative feedback
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance and advice to learners
  • Stay abreast of emerging pedagogical issues and educational technologies
  • Attend department meetings and SAIT's instructor training program

Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in Communication Studies, English or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years' post-secondary teaching experience in a relevant discipline
  • Graduate education and/or work experience in adult education would be an asset
  • Good computer skills and experience teaching technology-enhanced courses are required
