The Alliance Canada invites applications for the Dean of Theology position. The successful candidate will provide administrative leadership to the Faculty of Theology, envisioning and articulating programs, advancing student success, overseeing personnel, and managing resources. The Faculty encompasses the Seminary and Theological Studies in Chinese programs. The Dean reports to the Provost, Vice President of Academic Affairs. The position is a full-time management role with faculty rank but no tenure status. Personal adherence to the Christian faith is a requirement. The Dean is expected to teach at least two courses each academic year. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of theological education and a proven track record of leadership. The Dean will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, managing budgets, and fostering a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and team player, with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. The Dean will work closely with the Provost and other senior leaders to advance the mission of The Alliance Canada.
