About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Risk Evaluator to join our team at ALLTIME INVESTMENTS INC. As an Insurance Risk Evaluator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our insurance underwriting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and Evaluate Insurance Applications

Review individual and group applications for insurance, ensuring that all necessary information is provided and that the applications meet our company's underwriting guidelines.

Evaluate Insurance Risks and Premiums

Evaluate new and renewal applications to determine insurance risks, insurance premiums, extent of coverage, and other conditions, using medical reports, rate tables, and other documents as necessary.

Ensure Compliance with Regulations

Ensure that all insurance applications and policies comply with relevant government regulations and industry standards.

Provide Underwriting Advice

Provide expert underwriting advice to clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of their insurance options and risks.

Prepare Underwriting Reports

Prepare detailed underwriting reports for clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as insurance, finance, or business.

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in insurance underwriting or a related field.

Certifications and Memberships

Membership in the Insurance Institute of Canada or other relevant professional organizations.

Work Environment
  • Work Term

Permanent, full-time position.

English.
