Job Title: Transportation Fleet Manager

L.A.N Delivery Express & Hot Shot is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation fleet, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
  • Recruit and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members to ensure seamless execution of transportation operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and establish policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
  • Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in transportation operations or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Judgement and ability to work under pressure.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
