Job Title: Transportation Fleet Manager

L.A.N Delivery Express & Hot Shot is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation fleet, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency
  • Plan and organize daily operations to ensure seamless execution of transportation schedules and policies
  • Recruit and supervise a team of transportation professionals to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Arrange for shipping documentation and track the movement of goods in transit to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods to ensure safety and security
  • Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods to ensure timely delivery and minimize delays
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in transportation management
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Team player with a proactive approach
