About the Role

GILLCO TRANSPORTATION LTD. is seeking a highly skilled Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our truck drivers, ensuring they are equipped to handle various situations on the road.
  • Health and Safety: Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all drivers adhere to strict health and safety protocols, minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, or disciplinary measures, to ensure that our team is motivated and performing at its best.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Coordinate repairs and rentals, as well as requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, to maintain the optimal functioning of our fleet.
  • Supervision: Directly supervise a team of truck drivers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure they meet their performance targets.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
