About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Sura Korean Cuisine. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials that showcase our Korean cuisine.
  • Culinary Leadership: Train and mentor our kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to prepare and cook high-quality dishes.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, including inventory management, food safety, and sanitation.
  • Culinary Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques, and incorporate them into our menu and kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Cuisine Specialties: Korean cuisine.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
