Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Scientist to join our team in the area of cognitive health assessment. The successful candidate will have expertise in biosensing technologies, computer vision, signal processing, or biomarker detection, and applied knowledge of EEG, HRV, and/or facial expression and emotion analysis.

The Senior Research Scientist will carry out research on innovative projects, with opportunities for career development (publications and/or industry interaction). This is an early-career level position with a salary range of $82,338 to $114,354.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct research studies to investigate cognitive health assessment tools and biosensing technologies.
  • Analyze and interpret data from research studies, including EEG, HRV, and facial expression and emotion analysis.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in computer vision, signal processing, and biomarker detection.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to advance knowledge and technology in cognitive health assessment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A PhD (or equivalent) within the past three years (obtained on or after July 1, 2022*) or expect to complete your PhD within 6 months of appointment.
  • Expertise in biosensing technologies, computer vision, signal processing, or biomarker detection.
  • Applied knowledge of EEG, HRV, and/or facial expression and emotion analysis.
  • Programming skills and experience with remote sensing technologies or cognitive health assessment tools.
