Facilities Manager

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager & Projects to join our team. This is a dynamic role that requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Facility Services Management: Provide station facility services, commercial facility services for leased and owned properties, or project support services.
- Portfolio Management: Manage building management, facility management, office accommodation, fleet management, project management, training, and staffing to meet specific work and safety requirements.
- Process Development: Specify the site-level process requirements and controls to be applied across the site.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Manage the implementation of Company and Site policies, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Management: Deliver designated facility services within budgeted funds.
- Process Improvement: Develop maintenance techniques, methods, and technology to improve maintenance effectiveness and efficiency.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise project management support staff and maintain quality and production standards.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in Site and Company teams and initiatives.
- Education: 4-year university degree in Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years' experience in Project Management, and/or related fields.
- Leadership Experience: 5+ years' experience in a progressive leadership role.
- Certifications: PMP certification considered an asset.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the operation of plant facilities.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Strong planning, managerial, and leadership skills.
