Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities and Projects Manager to join our team at Ontario Power Generation. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong background in project management, leadership, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize the portfolio of investments to achieve corporate real estate objectives.
  • Develop and implement investment strategies, analyze market trends, and manage risk to ensure portfolio performance aligns with organizational goals.
  • Work closely with project teams, finance, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.
  • Supervise and administer a section of project management support staff, providing guidance and direct technical assistance as required.
  • Participate in site and company teams and initiatives, representing management in joint processes.
Requirements
  • 4-year university degree in Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in project management and/or related fields, with 5+ years' experience in a progressive leadership role.
  • PMP certification considered an asset.
  • Experience in the operation of plant facilities, including specialized equipment, processes, tooling, techniques, and methods.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and risk management strategies.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong planning, managerial, and leadership skills.
