We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities and Projects Manager to join our team at Ontario Power Generation. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong background in project management, leadership, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and optimize the portfolio of investments to achieve corporate real estate objectives.
- Develop and implement investment strategies, analyze market trends, and manage risk to ensure portfolio performance aligns with organizational goals.
- Work closely with project teams, finance, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.
- Supervise and administer a section of project management support staff, providing guidance and direct technical assistance as required.
- Participate in site and company teams and initiatives, representing management in joint processes.
- 4-year university degree in Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years' experience in project management and/or related fields, with 5+ years' experience in a progressive leadership role.
- PMP certification considered an asset.
- Experience in the operation of plant facilities, including specialized equipment, processes, tooling, techniques, and methods.
- Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and risk management strategies.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong planning, managerial, and leadership skills.
