At ATS Life Sciences Systems, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation and excellence. As a Senior Applications Engineering Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing custom automation solutions for the Life Sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and understand customer technical requirements
  • Develop concepts for custom automation solutions
  • Manage technical risk and source best-in-class third-party suppliers
  • Travel to customer sites to review current manufacturing practices and present technical proposals
  • Present solutions and costing to senior management for approvals
  • Collaborate with other ATS divisions worldwide to integrate alternative technologies
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical/systems/electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Previous co-op work term experience to complement school projects and assignments
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of design for automation, robotics, machine controls, and manufacturing processes
