About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Ahmic Lake Resort. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and equipment training for cooking staff to enhance menu offerings and customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and mentor specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Instruct cooks in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation techniques to maintain high-quality dishes.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events, banquets, and special functions.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances to ensure their safety and satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques to maintain high-quality dishes.
