About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Ahmic Lake Resort. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of meals for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and equipment training for cooking staff to enhance menu offerings and guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise and mentor specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Provide guidance and training to cooks on food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation techniques to maintain high-quality dishes.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events, such as banquets, to meet guest expectations.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods for guests with dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Recruit and train staff to ensure a skilled and efficient kitchen team.
