Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Meridian Inn & Suites Ltd. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and stock linen closets.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Additional Tasks: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, make beds and change sheets, and perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
