Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping and Maintenance Associate to join our team at Meridian Inn & Suites Ltd. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
