About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our Residential team at Northern Property REIT. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection of common areas, guest rooms, vacant suites, and renovated spaces.
  • Operate industrial cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, steam cleaners, and carpet cleaning machines.
  • Perform linen changes, dusting, and polishing of kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Maintain a trash and debris-free environment, including removal of snow from walkways and common areas.
  • Assist with carpet cleaning using industrial cleaners or chemical treatments.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage.
  • Perform other duties related to the upkeep of buildings as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A self-motivated individual who can work independently and takes pride in their work.
  • Previous experience working in environments that can be very dirty.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to lift 30lbs, work with industrial strength cleaners, and climb stairs with equipment and supplies.
  • A driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Able to provide a criminal record check that is free of relevant convictions.
  • Able to work overtime or on call as needed.
