Financial Operations Manager

Our drones perform inspections up to 5-10 times faster, ensuring worker safety while on the ground. Our unique thrust vectoring technology is being applied to various applications, including painting, cleaning, and sanding.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to lead and manage our financial and accounting processes. This is a wide-ranging role that requires a strong understanding of financial management, accounting, and analysis. The ideal candidate will work closely with our team to meet organizational goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Control: Oversee and manage financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Treasury Management: Develop and implement effective treasury management strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize financial risk.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to inform business decisions.
- Inventory Management: Develop and implement efficient inventory management systems to minimize costs and maximize productivity.
- ERP Development and Management: Design, implement, and maintain our ERP system to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and analysis.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
- Excellent financial reporting and statement preparation skills.
- Experience with corporate tax reporting and government R&D grants.
- CPA or CMA designation is an asset.
- Experience working in a small team or startup is an asset.
- Experience working within an ERP system or setting one up is an asset.
- Experience in a hardware or manufacturing context is an asset.
- Valid driver's license and access to a car.
