We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team at Kaustubh Bal, Senthurika Sivak. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional support and care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly infants, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being;
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene;
  • Demonstrate infant care techniques to new parents and assist with feeding and laundry tasks;
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment by performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties;
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, promoting their independence and autonomy;
  • Shop for food and household supplies, preparing nutritious meals for clients when required.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Experience an asset, but not required; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow with our organization;
  • Punctuality, dependability, and excellent oral communication skills essential;
  • Flexibility, judgment, and organizational skills necessary to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
