About the Role

As a Home Support Attendant, you will be responsible for providing daily living support, including personal care, bathing, and meal preparation. You will also assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and shopping for groceries and household supplies.

Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and preferences, and delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with mobility, transfer, and positioning
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping duties
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • CPR certification
  • Immunization records
  • A criminal record check
  • A vulnerable sector check
  • An adult abuse registry check
  • A bondable individual
  • Reference required
Work Environment

You will be working in a private home setting, which may involve bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads. You must be comfortable working under pressure and able to handle the physical demands of the role.
