As an Audit Lead or Senior Advisor, you will oversee all aspects of a file from start to finish. This includes engagement planning, evaluating and developing audit procedures and disclosures, overseeing fieldwork, reviewing work done by junior staff, and presenting client deliverables. You will also advise clients on critical business decisions.

To succeed in this role, you must have a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and at least four years of experience in public accounting, primarily dealing with ASPE and ASNFPO frameworks. Your expertise should include audits, NPO audits, and proficiency in using CaseWare for compilation, review, and audit engagements.

A high level of integrity, initiative, and interpersonal savvy is essential for building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. As a member of the firm's Management Team, you will demonstrate proven leadership abilities, including mentoring, coaching, and motivating professional staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with owner-managed businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience generating reports from client accounting software
  • Willingness to learn other applications
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
  • Tax experience, including HST, corporate, and personal income tax, is an asset
