About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Howard Johnson Grande Prairie. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
    • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Team Management and Training
    • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
    • Maintain a positive and productive team environment.
  • Inventory Management and Kitchen Operations
    • Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment.
    • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language and Work Environment
    • Fluency in English.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
