We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Hillside Centre-Adult Psychology in Kamloops, B.C. as part of the Interior Health Authority.

Salary: We offer a competitive salary and attractive remuneration package with an estimated annual salary range of $120,000 - $150,000.

About this role:

  • Provide psychological services, including assessment, individual therapy, group therapy, and treatment planning in the clinical practice area of Tertiary Mental Health Services.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to clients with diverse and complex needs.
  • Utilize standardized and evidence-based interview and assessment procedures to inform treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy interventions based on cognitive-behavioural and bio/psycho/social models.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the service.

About the location:

Hillside Centre is a 44-bed facility located on the Royal Inland Hospital campus, providing acute care services to adults and elderly individuals with severe dysfunction. The focus is on diagnosis, stabilization, and rehabilitation strategies to promote community reintegration.
