Job Title: Truck Driver Supervisor

Cranbrook Express (1980) Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising truck drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Recommend measures to improve work methods and productivity.
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to drivers.
  • Train or arrange for training of drivers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to ensure optimal use of resources.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Recommend personnel actions and participate in the hiring process.
  • Co-ordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and vehicles.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
