Cranbrook Express (1980) Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of truck drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trucking and supervisory experience. You will be responsible for:

  • Supervising a team of 5-10 truck drivers
  • Coordinating and scheduling activities
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
  • Recommending personnel actions
  • Coordinating repairs and rentals
  • Requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies

You will also be responsible for:

  • Training or arranging for training
  • Providing technical advice and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Resolving work problems and recommending measures to improve work methods

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure
  • Organizational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
