Job Title: Truck Driver Supervisor

Cranbrook Express (1980) Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising truck drivers and projects, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, and recommending personnel actions.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise truck drivers and projects to ensure efficient and safe operations
  • Recommend measures to improve work methods and productivity
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure drivers have the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities to meet business needs
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, training, and disciplinary measures
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trucking industry
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
