About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Claims Representative to join our team at Progressive Home Warranty Ltd. As a Claims Representative, you will play a critical role in handling claims related to home warranties, ensuring that our customers receive prompt and fair resolutions to their issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle claims from inception to closure, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and that claims are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, builders, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather information and resolve claims.
  • Manage claim files, including maintaining accurate records and updating claim status.
  • Work collaboratively with other claims staff to ensure that claims are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Report directly to the Claims Manager and contribute to the development of the claims team.
Requirements
  • Level 1 or 2 General Insurance License or the willingness and desire to obtain.
  • Proficient technical skills, including Microsoft Office and other standard business software.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional communication, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated and a positive attitude.
  • Experience in New Home Warranty, Insurance, and/or Construction would be considered an asset.
  • Post-Secondary education would be considered an asset.
