At Vancouver Coastal Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Nurse to join our Neuroscience team at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to assigned patients/clients, assessing their needs and developing effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including participating in discharge planning and teaching clients about health promotion and wellness.
  • Document care provided, respond to incidents, and maintain clinical competence to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Consult with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and contribute to designated hospital committees to shape patient care policies.
  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff, promoting best practices and maintaining a culture of excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Demonstrated expertise in nursing practice related to the designated client group.
  • Able to develop and implement care plans, adjust to unexpected events, and prioritize tasks effectively.
