About the Role:
The Clinical Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse Mentor position at Island Health is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced clinical professional to provide guidance and support to nursing staff. As a mentor, you will work closely with nurse educators to deliver top-notch client care and lead by example. Your expertise will be invaluable in shaping the nursing practice of your colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide rapid and effective clinical mentorship to nursing staff
- Utilize your experience and clinical skills to advise and support nursing staff in their practice
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff development and training
- Collaborate with nurse educators to ensure seamless delivery of client care
Requirements:
- Three years of recent, related nursing experience in the designated clinical practice area(s)
- Experience mentoring nursing staff and leadership training
- Valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle
