Executive Director, Nurse Practitioners, Strategy and Practice

The ExecThread organization is seeking a Senior Leadership Strategist to provide senior leadership and strategic direction in the integration of professional practice standards, evolving models of care, and health human resources workforce strategy.

This role requires a collaborative approach, promoting interprofessional practice, and a culture of continuous quality improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading nurse practitioner strategic planning, role and practice development, and ensuring the sustainability and quality of NP practice.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading nurse practitioner strategic planning, role and practice development
  • Spearheading integrated clinical strategy and advocating for initiatives that enhance models of care and improve patient outcomes
  • Maintaining a clinical Nurse Practitioner practice and being eligible for active membership on the medical staff

To be successful in this position, applicants must have a Doctoral (DNP/PhD) degree in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner, with at least 10 years of recent, related, and progressively senior clinical leadership experience.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
