Mental Health Psychologist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing time-limited, evidence-based psychological assessments and treatments to adults with Tier-3 mental disorders and substance use disorders.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in clinical psychology or Psy.D. degree and current registration as a Psychologist with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (NSBEP). A minimum of two years' clinical experience working with an adult population is required, as is demonstrated knowledge of Stepped Care principles, clinical care pathways, and outcomes monitoring.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills. You will have the ability to synthesize information, problem-solve, and make sound judgment in decision-making. Experience in providing supervision to psychology residents, students, and peers is also an asset.
HoursThis is a permanent full-time position with a bi-weekly schedule of 75 hours.
Compensation and IncentivesThe salary for this position will be $56.46 hourly for Psychologist PhD (Candidate Register) and $59.60-$62.74 hourly for Psychologist PhD (Registered). Successful candidates may also be eligible for a benefits package and signing bonus.
