PET Technologist, Molecular Imaging and Therapy Specialist

At PHSA, we are committed to providing comprehensive cancer control for the people of British Columbia. As a PET Technologist, Molecular Imaging and Therapy, you will play a critical role in our mission to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform PET/CT imaging and related technical and patient care duties within the Regional Functional Imaging department.
- Conduct various PET/CT procedures, including scanning and image processing for patients of all ages.
- Prepare patients for scanning procedures, including explaining the process and obtaining informed consent.
- Operate PET and associated CT computers and equipment as needed.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures and respond to emergent situations.
- Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) in Nuclear Medicine.
- Three (3) years of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Completion of formal PET/CT education, such as the CAMRT PET/CT certificate program.
