About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at HR Drywall & Taping Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation: Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Cutting and Installing Metal Corner Beads: Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and provide a durable finish.
  • Suspended Metal Ceiling Grids: Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Joint Compound Application: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Finishing: Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.
  • Sheet Installation: Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Compound Smoothing: Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry.
  • Taping: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, collaborating with our team to deliver high-quality drywall installations.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation.

  • Work Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week.
